Will be in several ports Oct and Nov 2010 on Cunard Victoria. Ship's shore tours continue to be expensive. Does anyone have suggestions about Split, Athens and Istanbul. These are ports we have not been to. Other ports on the cruise we know about.What has been your expierence on shore tours and what sites did you take in?We would prefer private tours for us and another couple we are traveling with. Hi, I just saw you posted in cruise critic also just like us. No body seems to be interested in answeringport tour question. You ask them about icecream in Kings court you will get 100+ answer. When you asked about tours no body seems know anything, most of them probably takes ship tour, piled up on the bus like sardines and get delayed by 1 or 2 passengers on each stop. There is a website in Princess where some one listed names of all tour operators, I will look for it and let you know? I used his contacts and wrote to them. Most of them replied, bit expensive , that is why I am looking for couple go with us. We are booked on QV Sept 25th voyage from Rome. Here is that website. REad them carefully and he has listed all the tour operators in each city.
