Weather in october

Traveling on the QM2 Oct 21 to 28, Transatlantic. We were wondering what the weather will be like. Will it be too cold to enjoy the open decks? The outdoor pool? Will we need long trousers and heavy shirts on the deck? I know that no one can predict the weather, can anyone guess how cold it will be? Thanks Jimbo

I would say to dress in layers, and peel, off as needed. If you are an "L" St Brownie, you "might" enjoy the pool, otherwise, I would think not.

I would definitely expect cold and wet weather as you approach Ireland & England, possibly with heavy winds & seas mid-Atlantic.

Best to keep an eye on the weather forecasts as the time approaches, and make sure you know where your cold weather gear is stored
