Hi again.

we are sailing on the QV in 2 weeks time and was wondering if we wanted to go for a picnic on one of the days when we are in port would we be allowed to order one from the ship and take it with us.

I really fancy a romantic picnic besides the water whilst in Venice but then stated to wonder about taking food through the customs. Failing this is the a super market on the way into the town centre where we could buy one.

If you mean a picnic by the canals I would suggest just having lunch in one of the many canal side restaurants it was quite busy for a picnic. You probably would be ok to do a picnic with food from the ship but you never know if they would object.
