Dinning on QM2

Our first sailing on Cunard. TA Oct 23. My question is about dining, My mother in law is sailing with us. Due in part to her age and health she perfers her food to be, well, less exciting then the menues I see for the MDR on the QM2. Can she order steak,fish etc without any sauces? Other lines have always accomedated her needs. Jimbo

You shouldn't have a problem. Speak with your waiter and if need be discuss it with your Head Waiter or even the Maitre d'. They are willing to work with you to make sure the meals are satisfactory.

Cunard are used to unusual requests...this was once tried out, someone asked for an Elephant sandwich...the waiter said "yes sir...African or Indian".......

I am not sure about dinning requests, but they usually have no problems with dining requests.

What is dinning anyway? Is that like making a lot of noise?

Sorry - yes, you can always order sauces on the side on all cruise ships. They know not everyone wants the same sauce.
