Cunard/P&O Increase Fuel Surcharges
For 2012/13 cruises, supplement is payable dependent upon the sailing date:
£8.00 pppd up to a maximum of £250.
This applies to all new bookings wef from 6th Feb 2012.
This also applies to P&O
I wonder if/when Carnival will apply it other brands in their portfolio.

Wow and they've only just put it up to £6 pppd (still upto £250) on new bookings from December 2011.
Maybe Windstar had it right keeping their sails ;o)

Apparently the £6 rate still applies to existing bookings.
I was thinking more of P&O who I think are about to introduce auto-tipping?

there is no fuel surcharge on the north american Carnival brands right now. Interesting!

I know - that is what I thought and why I posted.
It may also explain why P&O cancelled a world cruise last week?
If the cruise was 90 days - the passenger would pay a max of £250 and the cruise line would have to absorb the rest. It def makes more sense to switch to shorter itineraries.
