Joy, virtually all the newer ships for most lines (except Renaissance) offer handicapped cabins. They are generally larger and have accessible bathrooms. You may find though that the cruise ship company may require each of you to travel with a AB companion, so you may need to book two rooms and have roommates if you do not have partners. Book as far ahead as possible, as AB people have figured out that the accessible cabins are big too, and some lines do not restrict them to only disabled passengers.
We have had good success with Crystal (until recently...see my posts below), Princess, and Celebrity cruise lines, and some of the newer Royal Caribbean ships. I have heard complaints about Holland America recently.
