Insulin dependent diabetic request

I requested seating in the DR on the level where the restrooms are located. Am diabetic and take insulin immediately before eating. Order dinner and then go to the restroom to shoot up. I hope that the request is honored. On previous cruises, it has been a problem since many ships don't have a restroom on all levels. Celebrity also has their "stationed" guards preventing entry into the DR after the first 15 minutes. It gets real tiring having to explain why and go great distances to shoot insulin. I feel like a school kid asking for a lav pass and being stopped bythe hallguard. Get the picture.

yes I too have this little trek to the rest rooms, on our first cruise I didn't tell our dining table mates that I was diabetic and after ordering desert, I would go off to the rest room, towards the end of the cruise I did tell them, as I thought they may think I was bulemic or something. Now I alway say on the first night then they all know what i am up to.

When I cruise with my family I just shoot up at the table as they are all used to it.
