Wheelchairs On Cruise Ships

Is it just me, or does that kind of steep. I mean how many wheelchair would you need to store to on ship to repair the ones that get damaged avery year. I know they are expensive, but I assume they are pretty well-made as well.

Care Vacations is steep. Holland will only accept medical transportaion items from Care Vacations, unless it is your own property.

Here is how it works.
Care Vacation has many suppliers they work with at embarkation points.
They do the leg work for setting up the delivery. The supplier gets a certain amount to rent (say a wheelchair). Care Vacations tacks on their fees for setting it all up. It's like paying twice for the rental.
All money goes to Care Vacations first then they take care paying the supplier. The supplier represents Care Vacations and the cruise line is happy.

To give you an idea of costs. We checked with Care Vacations for a 3 wheel electric scooter for the cost of $295.00 for 10 days. A local supplier on our own is going to charge $125.00 for 14 days.
