Just wondering if any of you have been on Celebrity's Zenith and used a scooter. We're going on her in April and don't know if we should bring the scooter or not. I did get a handicapped cabin but I've heard these are not much bigger then any other OV cabin. Can anyone tell me anything about these cabins?
Don't know about the Zenith, but usually handicapped cabins are supposed to be larger than regular cabins to accomodate wheelchairs and such. My hubby always brings his electric wheelchair on our cruises and the rooms work out just fine, but you could always call them and find out the dimensions...

The Zenith is an older ship and small, but the accessibility is pretty good. The accessible cabin we had was very nice, and quite a bit larger than the non-accessible cabins in the same price. We had 3 in our cabin (with a bunk) and had plenty of closet space. The bathroom worked well for us. One nice thing about Celebrity is that they put their accessible cabins together on a much wider hallway. This means you don't get blocked in by room service carts as can be a problem on some other ships. The show room seating was not very good, but it has been 10 years since we were aboard her, so this may have improved. We found the crew very accomodating and helpful.
