HELP! Need transportation in Vancouver & London....
Yeahhh, I know the two aren't close to each other, HOWEVER, later this year my husband Ron & I will be cruising Alaska from Vancouver and so far we haven't had much luck from local agencies on trying to find a wheelchair accessible van to transport us from the hotel to the cruise dock. Ron has a power wheelchair, so we can't just toss it in the back of a taxi. Does anyone know of a service there?
Also, he'll be traveling to London to visit a friend and also needs that sort of transportation from Gatwick airport to Central London. Again, we've run into a brick wall trying to find some help...
In this day and age, I must admit that I'm VERY surprised at the lack of services available in London and Canada....we certainly have a plethora of services here in the good ol' US of A.....hopefully someone here can help???
Happy cruising, all!

You will have little trouble finding a wheelchair accessible cab in Vancouver. Just let the cab stand person know (either at the pier or at the airport) and the most we have ever waited is 20 minutes. It is usually a rear entry ramp van.
