VIP check in

I have hear that if you are handicapped you get VIP checkin on Carnival. Is this true? Also what other things do you get? Are there any other perks are accociated with except for bigger rooms and VIP check in? Do you get to skip any lines or anything?

We have always gotten priority check-in on every cruise line, since I use a scooter. The allow wheel chairs & scooters in first at the check in. when you get to the port just ask one of the line's employees where you need to go for check in. Debarking is a bit different. They either allow you off first, last or make no concessions. It seems to be different on every ship, and on each cruise line. That's about the only "perk" you get. If you need a handicapped cabin, you need to request it VERY early and submit a letter of need from your doctor. You get a handicapped cabin ONLY IF they have a cabin available.

The VIP check in is true. Ont the Miracle they wheeled me and my party from the terminal through security, check in and all the way up to the lunch buffet on the lido. Other then that I found that the staff went out of their way to help me with meals. I think Carnival is very disabled freindly
