Does anyone who has been to Ephesus in Turkey know if it is accessible with an electric scooter? I have contacted many travel agents/ tour guides and have received many different answers re: the accessibility of these ruins. Although I am not wheelchair bound and do not normally travel with any mobility aides, I am concerned if I will be able to walk the long distance at the ruins in Ephesus. Are there places to sit and rest along the way? Thanks for any feedback
I am also interested in this, since I am taking my mother on this cruise and have not decided whether to bring the transport chair all the way over there. I wish I knew if I could borrow from the ship or rent one while over there. Any ideas??
I was there last year. I would estimate the walk to be 1 to 1 1/2 miles. It was rough, I wouldn't attempt it with a scooter but we had several people make it with canes. There are places where you can stop and rest but there are no chairs or benches, just the stone walls. We had a tour guide and he keep moving so if you stopped you would fall behind.
