Hello, I am currently shopping around for the best rate on the 4-night land, 3-night cruise on the Wonder, 12/16/01 - 12/23/01. So far the best quote I got was from buycruises.com. I was quoted a total of $7112.00 for 8 people (3 children, 5 adults) in two Category 6 rooms (deck 6) with four nights at the Beach Club. This price includes port charges and taxes but not transfers (I think we will do that on our own anyway). What do you think of this quote? We are frequent Disney World guests so we know how much $$$ the Beach Club can be, but am not sure about the cruise value portion. Any input will be very appreciated! Also, since this is almost a year away, do you think we have time to wait awhile or should we book now to ensure that we get the connecting state rooms? Of course, all travel agents make everything seem so urgent but I know this is not a high season for either WDW or cruises (however, the following week is). Thanks so much!
This is how I found the lowest price. I used the internet and went to Disney.com and priced the cruise thru Disney Cruise Line. They have a really easy quote form that gives you an instant quote, very easy to use. They'll give you their price including their early booking bonus, insurance, transfers, taxes and port charges. Then I did a search "Disney Cruise Line discount" and got price quotes from all the discount agencies who advertise anywhere from 5% to 10% off the Disney price. They only discount the land/sea portion (not taxes, port charges, transfers, insurance, or airfare). I got quotes from about 5 of the discount agencies. I was able to reduce my price by $400 (2 adults, 2 kids).
