Default "Navigator's" verandah

What, exactly, is the difference between a "Navigator's verandah" and all the other verandahs on the Disney ships? They are placed in the same spot on every deck leading me to believe they have found another way of saying "something is blocking the view".

Just in case anyone else is interested in seeing what a Navigators Verandah is, I have info on it on my website at: www.castawayclub.com
I have photos of the Navs and also the aft metal verandahs and the "secret porthole rooms."

Everyone seems to bellyache about the "porthole balconies" but I would have preferred one. Seems you would have an extended sunroom. We have found verandah rooms to be hot in the morning or afternoon when the sun is low and shining into the glass wall. But - for some reason - they were the same price as a real balcony room on Magic (Florida Residence Rate) so we took it. Will check outyour website.
