Lines for activities on Disney?

I'm currently trying to book my travel this week for Disney Magic or Carnival Spirit with four children ranging from 4-12. How long are lines on the Disney? Does the activities get prebooked very fast? Can you take the kids to the age specific programs any time or do you need reservations? If you have kids of different ages will they be seperated and what if you have a younger one that doesn't want to be alone away from siblings?

Any comments about the Disney and kids programs would be great!

To take your kids to the activities you just take your kids to the place where the activites supposed to be and u sign them in! you dont ever need to make a reservation!
