cheapest way to port from Orlando ?

Dose anyone know a cheaper way then then $46.00 transfers from Disney to get to the ship we are 1 adult 1 child ? We fly into Orlando .THank you

Doreen,
You can rent a car one way. We did this and paid around 65.00 for a premium size car. The car rental place took us to the ship in a van when we checked the car in. When we got off the ship, the car rental place picked us up and took us to their location to get our car. It was very easy. We have a family of 5 and did not want to pay Disney's price for their bus, the rental was a great way to go. The Port is a straight shot from the Orlando Airport. It probably took us around 45-50 minutes to drive.

where was the drop off location, in Cocoa Beach or was it at the Port itself. Did you have to call that location tomake these arrangements?
I am considering the same as i am family of 5 driving from miami.
Doreen: if you want to keep the car, parking is $7.00/day. it may work better a week rental than 2 one ways of a couple days each.
