I am thinking about the disney cruise for myself and 2 children (daughter 12, son 11) and was wondering if they are at that awkard age of being to old for the younger kid programs and too young to get into the teen programs. Has anyone been on the cruise with kids at this age and being that it is just me and kids is there things for us to do together?
I took my 11 year old grandson on this cruise last year and he was absolutely enthralled. Something to do every minute. We are booking our next cruise for summer 2003, when he is 13--and he can hardly wait.
Just returned from a cruise in Disney Wonder, a reconnoiter for taking grandkids.
Ages 10 to 12 have their own program. They have six counselers plus a lab manager. Activities are scheduled from 9am to 1am. Have the events schedule for our cruise. Rather than clutter up the message board, email me for specifics.
