Both Magic and Wonder are identical.
Wonder makes three and four day Bahama cruises that are for the most part an extension of a WDW package. Drop a net over 2800 people on mainstreet in the magic kingdom, dump them on deck and you have the compliment of a Wonder cruise. They are still in a theme park survival frame of mind.
Magic makes weekly trips alternating between the eastern and western Caribbean. Most everyone aboard is there just for the cruise and therefore in a cruise frame of mind.
Both ships are identical and pure Disney. Since we have paid Walt's mortgage for the past 40 years, we knew what to expect. There were some cruise snoots that were not happy. Actually, the whole thing is very well done. The ship is laid out to support the kids programs, a large percentage of the staff are excellent, well trained counselors, and most of two decks are devoted to arcades, labs, playrooms theaters, etc. Dispite that, there is an air of class throughout. A third of one deck is adults only in the evening with three night clubs. Three pools range from children to family to adults. Saterooms are large, most with balconies. You rotate between three restaurants, with tablemates and wait staff going with you. Food was good, not great, but never disappointing. Always had stuff kids would eat. Embarkation and debarking were clockwork precision, so long as you did as you are told.
Guess you would say on Disney, the adults tag along, on RCCL the kids tag along.
More than you ever wanted to know.
