You both should enjoy Epcot and MGM Studios at WDW. The Hoop de do review is a great dinner show. Elegant night club at the top of the Contemporary Hotel. Epcot has restuarants sponsored by the countries represented. You don't have to emerse yourself into the theme parks to have a good time. Plenty of places to kick back and explore without going at a frenzied pace.
We have made the complete cycle twice; childless newlyweds, married with children, empty nest and now grandkids.
Magic is designed for kids but plenty to do otherwise. One third of one deck is adults only in the evening with three clubs ranging from serene to raucous. The movie shifts to adult late evening. Three separated pools; kids, family and adults. The bar at the adult pool is social, the one at the family pool appears more survival. The island of Castaway Cay has a secluded adults only beach with requisite bar hut, food hut and massage cabanas. Takes a tram to get there.
