Default Food Quality

We are thinking of taking a Disney Cruise but was wondering how the quality of the food was. I have only been on one cruise before, RC's The Voyager and their food was just "ok" some nights and other nights was poor.

My partner and I took the May 3 Eastern Caribbean cruise and we loved the food. We have one scheduled for Dec 13 and if you email me I will let you know my opinion from that sailing.

We were on the 9/13 Western and found the food to be good. Our in-laws, who had cruised RCCL Explorer of the Seas (I think it was that one) even liked the food better on DIsney.

Personally, I thought the food in the restaurants most of the time was just okay for the price they charge for the cruises, but it wasn't terrible and at times it was really good. I found the hot dog stand and room service food to be very good, however.

I wasn't very impressed with the food on the Wonder. First ship I have been on that caesar salad and key lime pie wasn't served in the dining room. The few dessert selections left more to be desired. I feel for the kind of money Disney charges they could even serve lobster one night.

The food on Disney is pretty good, while it is not gormet. But I would definitely recommend paying extra one night and dining at Palo's...not to be missed!

Yeah, Palo's was nice. I wish we had been able to eat there more than once but they got booked fast. The first thing we did after we boarded the ship was make reservations for it (a tip from someone who had cruised before).

we found the food to be fairly good at the 3 restaurants---and it was great at Palo brunch. Palo tea was simply o.k., nothing that great there. Most all of the appetizers were just o.k., nothing that stood out in my mind at all in that category. The main entrees and the desserts were pretty good though, and we had breakfast at Topsiders every day with no problems there, it was good, hot, and plenty of it (not enough tables inside though!) The cookies from room service were very good and it was fun ordering them at bedtime with milk and snuggling up together to talk about the great day we had, what we were doing the next day, etc.

The food is pretty but, but lacks variety. The 7 days my family and I were on the cruise, it seemed there were very few menu chages each night (with the exception of the 6th and last night). But overall, I was very impressed with the food, only thing I'd have them change is to switch up the menus more each night.

Do they still serve (kraft type) mac and cheese as a side dish with the adult entrees? My husband ordered the duck (I think) and it came with mac and cheese! I thought that was really weird.

Amen shubaby.................
Couldn't have said it better myself.

Everybody that eats at McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King....etc.. RAISE your hands.

Now.... let's talk food quality......lol

Food on cruise ships might be just "ok"...... but it is unlimted....

Disney Cruises are about the MAGIC.

Besides..... EVERYTHING Disney is $$$$$$.

But......to me..........it's worth it.
