Are cruises safe for toddlers?
 

My wife and I have a three year old toddler. We are thinking about going on the Disney 7 day Eastern Carib. cruise. My wife was concerned whether or not having a three year old on the boat is safe. In other words, could a toddler go overboard if you weren't watching the kid like a hawk?

It's safe. The railings all around the ship are all covered with plexi-glass so it would be tough to climb. My daughter was 3 when we sailed on the Magic and there was no issues or concerns at all. We did not have a room with a verandah though but I believe the railings are covered with plexi-glass or some other material. if you have a verandah.
