Just got back with our extended family of eight on board the Disney Wonder.
We spent four nights at Port Orleans first and were very pleased with it.
The Disney Wonder is a beautiful ship with great detail. Disney does it very
well. We had three staterooms on deck two with a huge porthole and
beautifully furnished. Ample room for my two adult sons and my grandson
in one room.
The food was wonderful. Best pastry chef we have every seen and this is
our fifth cruise. The dining rooms are beautiful. You do not get as much
attention from the waitstaff as on other cruises, but the men loved not having
to wear a shirt and tie. Dress is very casual. Slacks and a collar shirt for
men and dressy casual for women
Our granddaughter age 4 loved the kids club and stayed there during dinner
every night and they fed her and kept her until her mom and dad picked her up.
No cost and she was as happy as can be. The kids pool was awesome and
she loved it. There was an adult pool which was only for adults and plenty
of places to get away from all the kids for the single adults in our family and
for us grandparents who wanted a little peace and quiet.
The best decision we made was to arrange our transportation with LCT
They picked us up at the airport hotel, took us to Disney, then to Port Canaveral
and then back to the airport. $260 plus tip. They were always there early
and so dependable. Can't recommend them enought. Their e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org. We had a beautiful van with plenty of room for eight
a booster seat for the 4 year old.
