Port Taxes or Beach Taxes

Good Morning everyone, I am usually on the carnival message board since I have been blessed with kids yet. But my sister in Law is going on the Disney ship the 28th of Feb and was just told she had to pay some type of port tax or beach tax . I thought that the port tax was automatically added to your cruise price, at least for me it has always been like that. I have never been asked a few prior to pay any taxes. She said she was told it was a fee to use the beach but I have never heard of this. I would appreciate any comments. Thanks everyone! Hopefully soon Iíll be able to cruise with all of you.

Just looked at my receipts and all taxes were included in the price...I think I'd call Disney and check it out.

I'm going on the same cruise. The extra port charge is a 1.00 fee to the Grand Cayman's.They raised their fee.Disney sent a letter telling us they needed 3 more dollars,1 dollar for each person.Hope that helps.Mike.
