Howdy,
Lets just say I'm old enough to remember not having things like microwaves, cordless phones, color TV, but not old enough to have lived with the dinosaurs!!! Actually I'm middleaged, 51 1/2. But I'm a kid at heart and I am a disney geek!!! Maybe that is an outdated word, just showing my age I guess.
We live near WDW in Florida. My youngest son works for Disney too. We go almost every weekend unless we are on a cruise or ill. Right now we are getting ready to move next month so our weekends are busy for now. I am anxous to go to WDw again soon.
Will this be your first cruise? Do you want to do the 3, 4 or 7 day this time? Have you heard about the Pirate Party, it's a lot of fun an dis on every cruise.
If you have any questions about the disney cruise, please ask and I iwll try to answer them for you. I have taken family with us beofre so we have experienced clubs and fun for ages 18 months to 51 years of age.

I'm sure there will be plenty of teens on board. All 10 cruises we have done there was always lots of teens on board.
Once you know your exact date for your cruise. go to www.disboards.com
and find the cruise meets section. Click on it and scroll down until you see your cruise date. Click on it and then put a post for other teens on your cruise. That way you can get aquainted with other teens before you cruise with them. It is great to have a couple of friends waiting to meet you on board. Our teenage grandaughter does this. She started with 3 friends to meet on board and within 24 hours there were 15 of them that hungout together the entire cruise. If you dont see your cruise date, then start a thread for it your self. Sometimes it takes a while but people will answer you and join in. One great thing the dis boards has is PM, Private messaging for people who post there. So when you meet a teen you can write each other privately too. Just keep updating your post until someone joins in. I have done this before and it is great fun. Usually it will be the grown up who answer at first, but just keep asking if they have teens you could get aquainted with and you will find some, guaranteed.
Have fun!
Be sure and post your cruise date on this site too.

MouseFest is an unofficial annual gathering, at Walt Disney World, of Disney lovers around the 'net and the world, that occurs every December. The brainchild of Deb Wills, founder of AllEarsNet, an online Disney reference at http://www.allearsnet.com/, the event brings Disney website owners, guidebook authors, and fans from Disney communities around the 'net, together for meets, trivia, meals, and fun on the ship and at the parks. The center of MouseFest is the MegaMeet in which authors, website owners and fans meet in a ballroom for a couple hours talking Disney.
This year's Mousefest, the fourth annual, will be held from December 3-12, 2006. The cruise portion will be held on the Disney Wonder from December 3-7, and the land portion from December 8-12, with the MegaMeet occurring on December 9. For more info, go to http://www.mousefest.org/.
This is the kind of blast you can't approach with dynamite.

The cost of MouseFest varies depending on a lot of factors: your airfaire; hotel; car rental; length of stay; cost of cruise if any; meals; park admissions; etc. Most meets and events are free. People make their own trip reservations, and sign up for meets and events by posting on the relevant forums.
Florida322,
I'm really looking forward to my first Disney cruise, and in fact, through my TA, got my postcard from DCL. It features Mickey and Minnie in the foreground and one of the ships in the background. I know that DCL sends thousands of these postcards every year, but I felt a tingle when I received mine because it made the trip a little more tangible and real. It would be great to meet you on the cruise.
