Disney to do Mediterranean Cruises in 2007

I just heard that Disney will offer 10 and 11 day cruises to the Med in the Summer of 2007. I would assume that means there will be a couple of transatlantic cruises thrown in there also. Pretty interesting!

I just saw that, too, ML! :-) I'm reading everything I can about the Med as I plan my "biggie" for 2007 and ran across the info on "Mickey" doing the Med! I may have to look at their itineraries, too!!!

good marketing move by Disney to start synergy with their theme parks overseas and maintain brand loyalty for their repeat customers but with one ship not enough to upset the apple cart with the big boys

My family is so excited about this cruise. My twin daughters will turn 16 next summer so we are going to do this for their birthday. My travel agent is standing by..

Having seen the Disney ships many times in port, I must admitt the idea of this ship in the Med for 2007 sounds great. I am however concerned about having too many kids aboard and thus everyhing will be geared just toward them.

not really too much of an issue as Disney handle's kids programs better than anyone. Also, the kids tend to be younger and don't just hang out in the halls as I have seen on other ships.
