Default Dining Companion Question

I am going on a Disney cruise next week, May 18th. While I am not anti-social, I am traveling with 3 other adults (we are a party of 4 adults), does anyone think that will be seated with other people? Has anyone had experience with this? We would like it if we just sat the 4 of us.

HI,
There is a chance you may be just your group because this is a slow time of year for crusing and the ship usually isnt full. Normally every table is filled up and there are only afew that are for less than 6 people.
When we cruised as a couple, no family or friends we have been seated with others.
I wasnt too happy about this at first, but everyone was so nice with just casual chit chat about the usual stuff. where are you from, is this your first cruise, did you do any excursions today etc...
I think they try to put people with kids with other people with kids too. Try it your first night and if you see the dining room has some empty tables then ask the head dining room manager if he can change you to a table for just your group. I know they will do this if possible. You might be surprised and find you enjoy the other people.
Once we sat with people who didnt speak english. So we smiled and said hello, then we just visited among ourselves and again smiled and nodded as we left. That did feel kind of akward, but we survivied.
I'm sure you'll be just fine. But dont be afraid to ask to be moved.
Kathleen

You could be seated with others, but if you wish a table for 4, request it now. No guarantee that they can accommodate you, but your Head Waiter should be able to if you are seated with others and there are small tables available.

Have a great time!
