Weather in early January?

We're going on the 3-night Bahamas cruise in early January. Can anyone who's gone then tell me what the weather will be like? Will it be too chilly to swim on Castaway Cay? And what about the pools onboard--are they heated?

Adult pool is kept at 86 degrees
the other pools are at 84.
The wind on the deck makes it feel cooler.
The temps will be on your TV in your room.
The above temps are where they are suppose to keep the pools and usually do.

Ok, the weather in the Bahamas only varies maybe 10 degrees from winter to summer. You can look that up on the weather service on line.
The difference is NO humidity in the winter which is great!!
Since you are from Florida you know what I am talking about!!

We have cruised on the Wonder in january 3 times and had beautiful 80 degree weather each time, but it was quite windy.

Now as for swimming on CC, most will jump right in!! NOT ME!!

I too am from Florida and it was too COLD for me!! I am the minority though. I think it was the wind hitting me when I was wet more than the actual water temperature though.

Of course weather is so unpedicitable , it is sort of a guessing game about the water temps.
I'm sure you'll have an awesome time.

We are doing a 7 day this month YIPPEE. Hope you will post a trip report when you get back and let us know how it went!!!
