Default Best airport hotel to stay at in Orlando??

We will be flying into Orlando the day before our cruise leaves Port Canaveral. What is the best, but not too pricey, airport hotel to stay at that night and have the Disnely shuttle pick us up at, the day of the cruise? Thanks.

Unless you stay on disney property the bus will not pick you up anywhere accept at the airport .
It doesnt go to other hotels.
I have no idea what it costs, but the Hyat is rigth in the middle of OIA and is a nice place and actually very quier considering where your at. Plenty of food near by and only 5 minutes to the pick up area.

If you get a hotel neat the airport and then come back in the morning to catch the bus the cab fare will probably bring you up to the price of the Hyatt.

If you stay on property the lowest priced hotels there are All star sports, movies or music and Pop century resort.

I've stayed at the AmeriSuites about 1/2 mile from the airport. They have a free airport shuttle so you could go back to the airport in the morning and catch the shuttle. If you're getting in at a decent time, why not just stay in Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area? We used Cocoa Beach Shuttle service one year and they picked us up at the airport in a timely manner and took us to our hotel. Just another option.

I am choosing to stay at the Crowne Plaza. It seems to be a decent hotel and the price is not too expensive.

Thanks everyone for your input. We have actually decided to catch some kind of shuttle or town car to Port Canaveral and stay at the Radisson the night before our cruise. It will just be less stressful I think. Now I just have to figure out how to get from the airport to the hotel!

anc22,
We found renting a car from Budget to be a good option. It is only a 45 min easy drive and then you'll have more freedom too look around. Budget's return is the closest to the port and they offer free shuttle service. Then you won't have to depend on the hotel's shuttle to the port either and can go at your own pace.

We stayed at the Orlando airport hotel and had a great time. You have access to the food mall and all the stores at the airport. It was like the hotel was at a mall, and the bus picked us up there first, before all the planes started arriving. It was a lot of fun. Plus, the kids could watch the planes take-off and land.

Have a fun trip,
Kathy
