I am assuming the staterooms don't have a bathtub (we've got a room with a verrandah) - is that correct? If so, any recommendations for bathing a 2-year-old? I know I could try to shower with her, but we did that on a trip to MX & it was slippery & difficult. I don't think she'd fit in those little blow up baby tubs anymore - but maybe we could bring a small blow up pool? Did anyone else do this? A bath is usually how we settle her down for sleep each night.
All the rooms (except Category 11 and 12) have split bathrooms - one area has a toilet and sink, the other has a shower/small tub combo with sink. Since you are in a category 7 or higher (you did say verandah cabin right?) you'll have a tub in the room.
Here's a pic that I took of the split bathroom on the cruise I was on...
and if you visit www.castawayclub.com then click on Staterooms - about halfway down you have the heading "The mystery of the split bathroom" and you'll find better pics which actually show the tub.
Great question, something I did not think about for our daughter, before our first sail. When we stay at the Disney World Resorts, we never end up using the tub for her, as we are in and out of the pools so much. The pools end up being our bath, for her and all of us!
Just got back from the Wonder. I was able to fit into the tub, and take a shower, with my 5 year old. It was tight but doable. Also, the shower head is removeable, so you can stay out of the tub and spray the kid down. Have a great trip.
