We are going on our first cruise with extended family members Probably leaving on the three day Oct 4th.I have a few questions. My boys are 14 and 11 and I am wondeing about the bed sizes as they are both fairly tall.
Can someone tell me if the convertable couch and pull down wall bed are big enough for adult sizes? We are also traveling with our 5 yr old neice if anyone is going on this particular cruise and has kids around any of these ages and they want to converse let me know.
We have cruised with RCL 4 times with our teens and here is what we have found. Soemtimes the pull-out sofa is a real pull-out (Majesty OTS) and sometimes it is a futon style and very firm (Explorer and Mariner). Both are the same double bed size. Sometimes the lower bunk (and I believe that is how it is described) is only a twin size and flips over from the couch. The overhead pull-downs are regular twin bed size and are sometimes situated right over the had of the two regular beds. If the regular beds are together then the upper-bunk kids has to get down using the lower bed(s). It pays to have your travel agent chack wiht RCL on exactly how your cabin is set up.
