Default Is Disney cruise fun for all?

I have been thinking about booking a cruise on the Disney Cruise lines for my family. Unlike families with young ones, our "kids" are 23 and 21. Is it worth it or will be overrun by little kids? Thanks.

Disney does a great job of keeping the kids out of the adult areas.
There are plenty adult activities to keep you busy if you want to stay away from kids.

But honestly the only times you really see a lot of them making a bunch of noise is at the Mickey pool and the kids clubs and you wont be in the clubs.

Request late dinner for less kids or kids that will fall asleep and be sure and book Palos for an adult only dining experience.

if you go to the DCL website you can order a free DVD that will show you the adult areas of the ship and the adult only beach on CC.

There is also a book called the apasporter that gives excellant tips for adults cruising DCL without kids.

In the evenings there are 3 adult only clubs everynight too.
Too many adult activitie to list.

check out the website too,
Our youngest is 25 and we have done 15 DCL cruises so far and only 6 of them had adult kids or grandkids with us. The rest was just us and we had a blast everytime.

I am sure that you would have a good time. The one thing that DCL does not offer (I think) is a casino service. So if you like to gamble a little, that might be a bummer for you. Good Luck!

Thats true there is no casino, there is Bingo, plus most of the islands you may visit have casinos,
especially nassau and St, Maartin.

We (2 adults) embarked on a Disney (Magic) cruise in November 2005, and it was great. We met lots of other adults travelling without children, and they were enjoying it at least as much. For several of them, they had been on multiple Disney cruises.
There is a separate adult-only pool, and 3 adult-only night clubs. On Castaway Cay, there is also an adult-only section of beach. There is a spa and lots of adult activities, but no casino.
I highly recommend Disney, especially if you are looking for a smaller (approx 1200 people) cruise ship that's not a party boat. At the time I travelled, they also gave free soda drinks, which is a bonus.

My understanding is that Disney Cruises are great for adults. I personally would prefer to take another cruise line that has a casino and gives you more bang for your buck (Disney is about 30% more expensive for similar accomodations compared to other premium limes like Holland America, Celebrity or Princess).

However - Disney knows tourism and entertainment and you can expect high quality. Enjoy your trip!

I think Disney does a fabulous job of providing adults-only areas on the ship and on Castaway Cay. After cruising with Disney four times I tried another cruise line because I wanted the casino experience also. Well, the casino was very small, extremely smoky and not much fun. I only went once. Dollar for dollar, Disney is the way to go.
