When are Christmas decorations up? (How early in December)

Hi everyone-

Thinking about a cruise in early December 09 (haven't even gone on our first one- Feb 09- and already thinking about the next one :-) )- does anyone know WHEN the ships get decorated for Christmas?? Can't afford the cruises closest to Christmas when the prices are crazy, but DO want to see the ships all decorated.

How early in December are the ships "decked out" (pun intended) for the holidays?

They start puttng them up at Thanksgiving and the past 3 years we have cruised the first crusie after Thanksgivng and they were all up.
one cruise they actually did the gingerbreead house the first 2 days of our cruise.

Tree lighting ceremony the first evening.
DONT miss it, go fo rthe atrium level because after it is lit there is a surprize and for the full effect be on the ground floor.
