What size picture frame matte?

Hi. Just curious what size photo matte I should buy to have the characters sign? Also Should I bring my own Sharpies? Do they send it back to your room the last evening or in the morning before we head out?

Trying to make up my last minute shopping list.....We are heading out on the Jan. 18 cruise!

You should include you own sharpies and they will be returned to you with the frame the last evening. Usually the room host leaves it in your room when he does the bed turn down that evening.

Size is your choice. Most are 5x7 or 8x10 that people leave to be signed.

I wouldnt leave any larger, they don't have a lot of space to store things.

Is that with a 4x6 opening?

Also, do you think it is ok to leave 2? Only because we don't know which photo we will be using and if it will be a vertical or horizontal photo, so I was thinking have them sign one in each format...

The photos are 6x8 for actual photo size and frames are hard to find for that size sometimes.
People requested they change to 5x7 but i dont think they have done so yet. That would be a good question to ask.
I use to get 5 x 7 frames and just put a colorful background paper behind the photo which looked great. I even found disney themed paper at a craft store.
I prefered that look to a perfect fit frame. It was unique looking.

2 frames would probably be ok. They allow 2 pillowcases so 2 frames should work ok too. They just dont want a ton of things because they may not be able to get it all done if they have 20 things from every passenger.

I often include a thankyou note or a mini size box of whitmans chocolates and tell them in the note to enjoy them. Not required but since they do this for free i think at least a note of thanks is nice.

If you want one frame signed horizontal and one vertical, attach anote to each one specifying what you want. They will aks you when you leave the frames but its best to include your own instructions too.

Be sure and leave them the FIRST day. Sometimes they wont accept them after the first day because they may not get them done.

Ok, well....I picked up 2 5x7 mattes....they have a 4x6 opening so I will have to play around with things. Might have to just copy and reprint my own copies. I just don't want HUGE pictures hanging around anyway, these will be for the kiddos more than the family room

I'm sure they will be just fine. as i said I used 5 x 7 frames too and it looked great.
