Which Side

We are getting a cabin with a balcony. Which side of the ship is better to request? I love sitting on my balcony while cruising and while in port. I will have my kindle with me loaded up with books ready for relaxing on the balcony!!

Can't see that it matters much, depends where you are & what direction you are heading, nobody knows which side will be "in" when you dock.

I don't think it matters that much. In Nassau you will have other ships on both sides of you anyway.

It is difficult to tell about that which side is better in the ship. I do not know that in which direction of your dock entrance. Therefore, It is depend on the place of your cabin to choose the better side in ship.

I think next time I might choose port or starboard depending on whether we get the sunsets coming or going. We had the sunsets going south last time and missed them terribly on the way home.

I'd rather anticipate the sunsets for the first few days than miss them the last few.

Of course, the weather and cloud cover could make my little theory untestable!
