Default Taking an infant

We will be on Magic in Jan 2011. My daughter will be just a month shy of 3 but my son will only be 9 months. I am just wondering how I am going to have all the comforts of home in a tiny cabin. Does any one have any tips of suggestions for travelling with an infant. My son will still be on formula - so I'll have to make it AND clean bottles. Also is the crib safe? I have seen some pretty sorry excuses for crib in hotels and restorts. Is there anything you would suggest I make sure and have - besides diapers? I have so many questions but I thought I would just start with this.

Thanks!!

Katherine

search on "baby" and "infant" in our search box on the front page and you will get articles.

Disney has babysitting down to 6 months old and even delivers diapers and formula to your stateroom.

Also consider bringing a small blow up pool, so you can keep it close by you on the pool deck...this way, when the baby gets cranky, you can just use that, to cool him off....

Default Depend on yourself

A rule of thumb is be prepared especially when on an airplane these days.
Check with Security as to infant formula limit allowed on board a plane.

As far a as the cruise line is concerned, make sure your needs are requested ahead of time and verify what they will provide. No harm is packing your own disposable diapers just in case.

We traveled with Disney for SB08 and my youngest was 4 months old. The ship was well equipped with most everything except the formula that we needed. Make sure you have plenty of that and Disney will have the rest.

We were also able to pick up some items at our stops, so that's always an option to.
