Disney Magic to Galveston

Looks like the rumors were true, just heard the announcement.
Beginning Sept. 22, 2012, the "Disney Magic" cruise ship will offer 12 seven-night cruises from the Port of Galveston to the Western Caribbean. Ports of call include: Grand Cayman, Mexico’s Costa Maya and Cozumel.

The funny thing is - if you recall, a Disney rep contacted us and asked us to take down the messages suggesting this "might" happen.

I do recall. I believe he was going to give us a day's notice too. Someone actually found the info on the DCL website as they were updating web pages and the cat was out of the bag. Supposed to be officially announced tomorrow. One of my long-time (not old) cruise friends tipped me off b4 it got on the wires yesterday. The 4:12 time is well before any other message board had it--a Cruisemates scoop--of course within an hour it was everywhere.
