Disney Fantasy Arrives at Her New Home in Port Canaveral (Lots of pix)
 

As promised, DCL Fantasy as she passes Jetty Park, Port Canaveral. Sorry for the slightly lower quality. New camera and I didn't have time to figure it out before this morning.

I also shot some video and got the horn (Before the crowd drowned it out) as well as the fireworks. Those will be linked once uploaded to YouTube

For those curious ... I woke up at 230am this morning to be at Downtown Disney by 4am to catch a bus provided by Disney Cruise Line for selected Castmembers and we then made our way to the port. It was very festive. A nice mix of both Castmembers and locals. It never fails to amaze me just how Castmembers can find the energy and vibe, even tho some like me had maybe 5 hours of sleep, and I am sure some had even less.

Thanks so much for your pictures. It must have been a thrill to be at the port to welcome a new ship.

Oh yeah, it was amazing. I won't lie, I was in quite a bit of sleep deprived agony for the rest of the day, since I had to work from 11-730, but I survived. :)
