We just booked our first Disney cruise that sails in 3 weeks, gasp, for my son's 7th birthday. We do not use credit and I am trying to budget what we will need to have applied before hand for onboard credit. I have an idea of what we will spend on excursions and tipping but what are other onboard costs that I need to plan for? I know that sodas are free if I order in the proper areas but what are the general costs for alcholic beverages and photos? What about photo packages? Are arcade games also applied to our onboard account or do I need to bring $$ for that and what is a reasonable amount? Other than the gift shop and the things listed above, are their any other costs that are not covered in our fare that I need to consider?
Ok I'll do my best with your questions...
Alcohol is reasonable and comparable to bar prices. 8 Bucks for a mixed drink as I remember. Premium drinks can be more. I'm not a beer guy so I cant say how much they run.
Arcade games are applied or paid for with your sail and sign card. You use your sail and sign to purchase a game card that tracks how much credit you have.
My daughter and I spend about 10-20 dollars a sea day in the arcade each.
If you like to treat yourself to Spa Treatments etc.. these can be pricy but my wife really enjoys her massage. I want to say it was 300.
The Palo, you should try it, was I think 30 bucks each extra, adults only.
Have a great cruise!
Agree with above post. Specialty resturant, spa treatments, booze, are all extra. Food, soda onboard entertainment is priced already. Gift shop, even if u need band aids aspirin or something like that; oh I almost forgot, pictures. Photographs will be taken all over the ship and on the private island. And they are sold by a package price or individual.
