Does anyone know of reliable, relatively inexpensive transportation to Port Canaveral?
We will be staying at the Best Western Airport Inn the night before embarkation and need transportation to the port in the morning.
I have heard Tropicana mentioned as one source of transportation, but that's about it.
I would rent a car ... it will cost no more then hiring a limo or shuttle service to take you from the airport to the port then it is to rent a car ... all of the big car rental agency are there near the port and they all offer free shuttle service to the port ...
I personally would stay near the port ...again ... rent a car, then enjoy the 40 minute drive to the port area ... there are several hotels near the port and right on the beach ... then just drop the car off in the morning of your cruise ...
I would also recommend renting a car, if you're worried about the directions, don't, it's super easy to get from MCO to P'Can. That said, most rental agencies offer GPS navigation systems in their cars for about $10/day, I wouldn't travel without my PND, personal navigation device. Budget has decent service at MCO, and the CC5 office on Astronaut Blvd in P'Can is wonderful to work with. I've used them 3 times now, and can't say enough good things about them. Good luck.

We took a hired car- search for the airport website- there are listings of transportation companies. There's a bus to the port, but it didn't work with the time of our flight. The limo we took was pretty expensive- but there were 4 of us so it wasn't so bad. We arranged with them to pick us up on our return, since we had to get a noon flight back.
