All I can speak for is the location in reference to the port and it is "just right there". Based upon its location; we will probably be staying there next year.

We have stayed there several times over the past few years, and are booked again for next February. We love the location - across from Bayside Marketplace - lots of restaurants and shops. No problems at all with the hotel. Rooms were clean, with great views if you get a room on the upper floors with a view of the water.

Nice hotel !
I stayed there several times and last may I was there once again.
It is a PERFECT location and you can shop, eat and do a lot of things even if you don't have a car. Bayside Marketplace in front of the hotel is verry nice and always open. In the weekends its full of entertainment.
If you are going on a cruise I suggest you to ask for a room on floor 7 or higher. Nice view of the cruise ships from your room !!!
I will choose this hotel over and over in Downtown Miami.
