Default Orlando Hotels offering shuttles

Sailing out of Port Canaveral in the Fall. Do not really want to stay at the hotels in Port Canaveral. Would prefer to stay in Orlando. Does anyone know of any of ther nicer hotels that offer shuttle service?

Since you are staying by the airport, in case the hotels don't have a service, you can always pick up one at the airport, either through the cruiseline or private, there are quite a few...They usually start transporting people as they bring the previous cruisers back to the airport, around 10 or 11, so that is always an option to keep in mind.

Thanks Donna, do you have any idea how much a ride from Pt. Canaveral to Orlando goes for?

You don't say how many are traveling together . If a group of four it might be cheaper to rent a vehicle to transport you . Check with the cruise line as to whether they have transfers to/from Orlando . I think that Royal Caribbean and Carnival have transferees . Disney might also have them as part of there package . These transfers might be more convenient then a private company. The cruise line tranfer usually picks passengers up at about 8AM , so that they can return the dis embarking passengers to Orlanda by 11AM. When we did Mariner in 08 , in line where some ladies that took the RCI shuttle . The shuttle was at the hotel at 8:30AM .

It still might be cheaper to rent a car in Orlando and drop it off in Port canaveral. The reverse of dis embarkation.

We were thinking of the car rental option too. Is it an easy drive to the pier from Orlando?

Yep Sally,
The drive is mainly highway driving, and about 45 minutes, very easy.

Orlando to Port Canaveral is pretty much a straight line east on Route 4.
Orlando Airport Shuttle to Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach
Port Canaveral
