Default Galvaston

Princess is starting to go out of Galvaston again to the Western Carib. Should we stay a night or two in Galvaston to see the town? Is it worth staying a couple extra days? I have always wanted to go out of there because it is only a 3 hour flight, but I don't know anything about the port town. Thanks

We went in the day before and spent the night. I was not overly impressed but I was also exhausted, too. You might enjoy yourself. I would not mind doing another cruise out of Galveston.

We enjoy Galveston . Here's the link to the Galveston web site: GALVESTON.COM: Official Website of Galveston Island, Texas Tourism & Marketing

You could easily spend a day at Moody Gardens (much more than gardens) or shopping on The Strand.

Be sure to check out the web cams: GALVESTON.COM: Galveston, Texas Webcams

Have a wonderful cruise,

Thank you for everyone's suggestions/comments. I am now looking forward to spending a couple days there before the cruise.

Happy Sailing!

We live in Houston, and sometimes drive to Galveston on the weekends just to walk and eat on the strand. It just a very relaxing place to be.

You know, I really wish I had not been exhausted when I was there.
