Galvaston
Princess is starting to go out of Galvaston again to the Western Carib. Should we stay a night or two in Galvaston to see the town? Is it worth staying a couple extra days? I have always wanted to go out of there because it is only a 3 hour flight, but I don't know anything about the port town. Thanks

We went in the day before and spent the night. I was not overly impressed but I was also exhausted, too. You might enjoy yourself. I would not mind doing another cruise out of Galveston.

You could easily spend a day at Moody Gardens (
muc h more than gardens) or shopping on The Strand.

We live in Houston, and sometimes drive to Galveston on the weekends just to walk and eat on the strand. It just a very relaxing place to be.
