Default Entertainment on Ships!

Please direct all your comments to shipboard entertainment to this message board. Whether it is the stage shows, the golf program, or the casino, or if you want to talk about certain people in the staff such as the cruise director.

We want your opinions - best worst - what should be expanded and what should be eliminated.

Thanks!

Paul

What movies usually play on the radiance? New release ones?

I am not familiar with Radiance's movie schedule, but most ships have close to new release films playing for free in the cabins, and what they show in the movie theaters and in-cabin pay-per-view there are "first-run" films (as in "not yet on DVD") but they are not the newest of new releases.

Maybe it's from living mostly away from any big cities and not near any Broadway type theaters but we enjoy the shows very much and always attend them. Yes some of the comedians, singers, and other talent they bring onboard are has-beens or never-weres but we just walk out if it is not entertaining. As for the ships production people, some of the lead singers have been great. Of course some are pretty average as well. Same for the dancers. There have been some that have really impressed us and we actually look for them and single them out to judge their talent. Some really are wonderfully talented young ladies and men. It is very hard to perform onstage, much less on a MOVING stage and twice a night!

Just got back from Majesty of the Seas.
The cruise director "RICO" was absolutely fantastic. Only if I were 30 years younger. HaHa!
He has a fanatastic group of people that keep any age group going. I give them alot of credit for the enthusiasm that they project night after night with little sleep.
The Bingo guy the assistant cruise director from Wales was also so quite enjoyable.
You would see all the assistants at various functions.
I must give a special thanks to RICO even though he never met me. Our friend enlisted us in the QUest game and believe it or not we won. I have never been to somethibng like this and it was a blast.
All of the entertainers were top notch. The singers, dancers, comedian and yes the "Bollas" performer.
I do beleive this is one of the reason why I would book another cruise.
Thanks Majesty of the Seas Royal Carribbean.
