Default Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings?

How often are there AA meetings on the Mercury? does it depend on the makeup of the passengers?

I have seen them on all cruises I have been on. Only problem is that they seem to be in the middle or late afternoon when you are in port. Also, I have yet to see anyone actually show up for one.

I'd be curious about this question on a different cruise ship... trying to figure out how to find out before boarding. Any luck?

The AA meetings on cruise ships are always referred to "Friends of Bill W." and you will see them listed in the daily program. If you are curious about a certain ship, go to that message board and ask in there if anyone who has been on board and recalls, or has a program at home, if they can look in it to see if any were scheduled.

Some ships do not schedule them on days in port, but sea-days almost always have one.

I have learned something new. We couldn't figure out who bill was. We finally hoped that bill found all his friends and had fun? How are newbies suppose to know what this is? They also had friends of Dorothy. Is it the same thing?
