Not really, the cruise lines generally do not pre-announce entertainers because they are always subject to change. I think it is a business decision, really, because if the scheduled entertainer could not appear it would give people yet another reason to ask for a refund or credit and whatever. Conversely, the cruise lines have rarely found it beneficial to use an entertainer's name to promote a cruise. Some cruise agencies do, however, and will sponsor a 50's cruise and the like.
