Has anyone been on any cruises where there is a medium to high stakes live poker game played? I am not interested in playing house games in their casinos.
Bob---we were on the HA Amsterdam and Rotterdam recently and both had Texas Holdum Poker. While they call them tournaments you are playing against other players. It is inside the casino and the winner share was either $200 or $300 for eliminating all the other nine players. In one game you actully played against the other players and this was not a tournament. As I recall there was a limit on bets. Players moved in and out from the table and buy in as I recall was around $60. The house took a cut of each pot ( a dollar or two). This is not exactly what you had in mind but it sure beats the electronic Texas Houlum aboard the Carnival lines. Good luck!!
Theere are lots of Poker Group cruises. There was one on the Dawn a few years ago. Tables set up in some of the conference rooms. Google Poker cruises.
