I don't know your itinerary but I was in the Baltic last year...take the ships excusions in Russia (St.Pete..otherwise you need aUS visa and then hire a privatr driver..$$$), in places like Oslo, Helsinki, and Stockholm and Copenhagen you can easily go on yoyr own....Gdansk, and Talin is a toss-up...Have a great time
We are sailing at the same time on the same ship. We are working on getting Visa so we can go see St Petersberg on our own. I have read a few other post that this is recommended.
