Dover port to Gatwick?

In the travel documents we just received from NCL for our upcoming Baltic/Scandinavian capitals cruise (Apr. 25-May 10) is the quote of a $150.00US taxi fare from Dover to the Gatwick airport. Other than the option of sharing a taxi with another other party, can anyone suggest less expensive modes? The ship docks at 5 am and our plane departs at 1:45 pm. Thanks.

Me and my husband taken Dover Taxi - Airport and cruise transfers from Dover to London, then back at the end of our holiday.

We found them to be very reliable and reasonably priced.

You can take the train from Dover into London Victoria & then take the Gatwick Express train out to Gatwick
