Hotels needed

We are going on a Med Cruise June 8/05 on the Milli. I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions on were to stay in Barcelona and in Venice,as we want to arrive early and stay on a couple extra days.

I was on the net looking at Bed and Breakfasts and apartments, has anyone ever stayed in this type of accommadations.

In Venice a small pensione is called the Academia. It is a friendly reasonable place to stay. They include a lovely reakfast in their garden.

Doing cruise 6/17 also....would like to fly in 1 day early too....let me know if you find any hotels or bed and breakfast, reasonable....thanks cindy
