Transportation from Dublin to Ship

Help! On an upcoming Golden Princess cruise we will dock near Dublin and will take a motorcoach tour into town. We plan to meet a friend who is flying in from Scotland to see us in Dublin and we will need to find our own way back to the ship. We could not find anyone at Princess who could help us. If you know, what are the choices, how long does it take and how much does it cost? Thanks for any help you can give.

If you are taking a ships tour they will take you back.
A cab can take you back with no problem
Sign on to the Princess site and checkout the tours as they all provide the time into the city.
Send an email to the Dublin Tourist board, do a search

Your friend could wait until you dock in Glasgow or Edinburgh

Good advice, have friend meet you in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Is getting from the city to the ship is easier in Glasgo or Edinburg than in Dublin?

Edinburgh is about 20 minutes or 2 miles from Ocean Terminal where the ship docks

reply sent me was "cruise liner terminal is only a 5 minute walk from Ocean Terminal, in fact you'll be able to see the rear of the mall as you disembark from the ship and we are around 2 miles from the city centre. You can either use the local buses which you can catch from outside our main doors or use our taxi rank and it is also possible to hail the black cabs.The price should be around £5 from here to Princes Street but it does vary depending on the taxi company. "

Just back from Golden Princess Transatlantic which visited Dublin. Princess offered a shuttle to Nassau St in the city centre for 4euro. It ran every 30 mins. We met up with family in Dublin and when returning tothe ship thy drove us right to the gangway. All we had to do was show our cruiecard. The ship docks almost in the city centre
